Bell’s Brewery To Expand, Aims at 1 Million+

Bell’s Brewery (Comstock, MI) is planning another expansion. This one will be huge.

Currently, the brewery can produce 500,000 barrels (15.5 million gallons) of beer annually out of their current facility. Soon, Bell’s will add a 200,000 square foot addition to the production facility, which includes 13,000 feet of keg storage, 100,000 square foot warehouse, new bottling area, and more.

The addition should be completed by February-March, 2016. Post expansion, Bell’s Brewery will have the capability of producing up to 1 million barrels (31 million gallons) of beer annually.

Bell’s last expansion was completed in May of 2012 when the brewery added a 200 barrel brewhouse.
