Beer Street Journal Video: Inside SweetWater Take Two Pils

SweetWater Brewing Company (Atlanta, GA) has just launched a new year round offering, perfect for the summer heat – Take Two Pils.

The new pilsner is a rare lager in SweetWater’s mostly ale lineup. Take Two Pils starts with German hops Stryian Golding and Saaz, plus some American Mt. Hood hops to make the beer truly SweetWater. The Czech pilsner yeast strain is new to the brewhouse too.

Mark Medlin took some time with Beer Street Journal to run down the new release. Shipping now in 12oz bottles and draft in all of the brewery’s markets.

Style: Pilsner
Hops: Stryian Golding, Saaz, Mt. Hood
Malts: Pilsner, Munich, Carapils

Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft. Year Round.

5.5% ABV
