Avery Vanilla Bean Stout

Avery Vanilla Bean Stout, is the newest addition to the Boulder, Colorado brewery’s year-round lineup.

  1. This sounds good. I am, however, getting burnt out on all of the beers that sound good and then are a let down. A lot of breweries are taking advantage of the fact that people are obsessed with adjunct stouts right now and will buy any shit beer that says it has vanilla in it. If you say there is vanilla, let’s taste the fucking vanilla! End rant.

    • I agree with you. The vanilla is really never that obvious. Not sure where you’re from Eric Carter, but you should look up Gonzo’s BiggDogg Brewing and try their Vanilla Porter. The vanilla in there is so strong that’s a majority of what you smell and there’s a strong vanilla flavor as well. It’s pretty fantastic.

      • Im in Michigan and have had Gonzos Vanilla Porter, was lots of vanilla coming through but had an imitation vanilla taste to me,Ive also had Avery vanilla bean stout and it was a fantastic smooth blend of vanilla bourbon and slight chocolate, the one I had bottled Apr 2016 was 11.5% ABV though
