Red Hare Long Day Lager Cans Debut This Summer

Red Hare Brewing (Marietta, GA) looks to be the first brewery in Georgia release their beer in cans.  (Not counting the Anheuser-Busch plant in Cartersville.)  The canning line has already been ordered and will be arriving in time for installation in May, 2012.

Long Day Lager will be the first beer to be canned.  Incidentally, it will also be the first packaging outside of draft by the brewery.   SweetWater Brewing has expressed a serious interest in canning also, potentially later this year.
